Mrs. Tapia was reminded to get the Well Elderly Clinic schedule in early <br />so that they could be printed before the water bills go out in December. Mr. <br />Smith said that this year an explanation should be included of the clinic <br />services. <br />Mrs. Tapia thanked the Board and retired. <br />At 8:45 p.m. Mr. Robert Kent, Selectman; Mr. Jack Gardner and Mr. William HEALTH <br />Page came before the Board to talk about a Committee for Community Health. COMMITTEE <br />Mr. Kent explained that Dr. Erdos was familiar with this committee because <br />he had attended some of the meetings on the forum on aging and this was an out <br />shot of those meetings. <br />Mr. Page passed out copies of resolutions adopted by the Lexington Forum <br />on Agling Committee regarding the organizing of a committee to study and initiate <br />health programs for the citizens of Lexington. <br />Mr. Page requested a member of the Board to act as a member of this committee. <br />Mr. Page and Mr. Gardner explained the goals and etc. of this committee. <br />Dr. Cosgrove said they would discuss their requests and let them know what <br />the Board of Health could do. He said he did not feel that he wanted to tie one <br />of the Board of Health members up by attending another Committee meeting. <br />Dr. Cosgrove said he did not see why this committee could not send the <br />meeting minutes to the Board and they would review them and then make suggestions <br />rather than have a member attend more meetings. <br />After further discussion the Board agreed that this would be the best way <br />to participate in this program. <br />Mr. Smith explained that for almost a year now we had not been doing any MILK TESTING <br />milk analysis work because Mr. Condon who did this work had retired. <br />The Board agreed that they would like this work resumed. <br />Mr. Smith said he had some prices on a few laboratories and had found that <br />Massachusetts Dairy Laboratories had offered the best price. <br />The Board suggested that Mr. Smith contact this laboratory and have this <br />testing resumed. <br />There was no further business and meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />JULY 23, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Monday, July 23, 1979 <br />at 7:00 P. M. in Room G-15 of the Town Office Building. Members present were: <br />Dr. William L. Cosgrove, Chairman; Mr. James W. Lambie and Dr. Michael S. Erdos. <br />Minutes of the June 18, 1979 meeting were approved as read. <br />The definitive subdivision plan entitled "Cambridge Farms, Lexington, Mass." <br />MBRIDGE <br />dated April 30, 1979 was approved by the Board.
