Audit of 2016-2017 finances to be completed following the 9/12 <br /> business meeting. Members were reminded to use Amazon Smile as a way of donating <br /> additional funds. <br /> • SEPAC Membership: Lauren Onorato working on plan for driving membership numbers for <br /> 2017-2018 school year. All officers reminded to become SEPAC members. <br /> Secretary Report: Open Meeting requests for all confirmed meetings have been submitted to <br /> the Town Clerk. Continuing to work on confirming room request for Science Lecture Hall for <br /> October 11 meeting. <br /> Upcoming Meetings <br /> • September 25 Parent Meet & Greet: Should have sign-up sheets from various subgroups. Will <br /> have laptop so that attendees can sign up for membership at the meeting. Mona Roy and Carol <br /> Millard to work on food and setup tasks. <br /> • October 11: Dyslexia Film Screening. <br /> • November 8: Nicole Diggins-Locher working on scheduling a speaker about goal-driven IEP <br /> creation. <br /> • Shut Up About Your Perfect Kids—request to move this meeting to March from the Lexington <br /> Community Coalition. <br /> • Lisa O'Brien to work on scheduling Basic Rights presentation on Dec 7 through MassPAC <br /> Other Topics Discussed <br /> • SEPAC Parent Survey to be postponed until 2018-2019 School year due to Human Rights <br /> Coalition Survey that will focus on higher rates of suspension in African-American students and <br /> students on IEPs. <br /> • Development Learning Program (DLP) Audit Report will be finalized on September 15 and will <br /> be presented to the School Committee (date TBD). <br />
