Town of Lexington 20/20 Vision Committee Meeting March 30,2018 Parker Room,Town Office Building 1625 Massachusetts Avenue 7:45 a.m.—9:00 a.m. Members Present: Peter Enrich, Dan Krupka, Andrew Dixon,Joe Pato, Margaret Coppe, Mark Manasas, Ginna Johnson, Fernando Quezada Members Absent: Bhumip Khasnabish, Kathleen Lenihan, Carroll Ann Bottino,Alan Wrigley, Peter Lee Visitor(s): Grant Carrow, Harry Forsdick The meeting was called to order at 7:46 a.m. The minutes for March 2, 2018 were approved with one abstention from Ginna Johnson. The meeting was primarily devoted to ■ Reviewing the charter for the proposed Communications Subcommittee ■ Receiving updates on the Long Range Planning Process ■ Reviewing the Proposed Observance Program for January 2020 From discussions,we formulated the following decisions and action items: Decisions ■ Motion was properly seconded and approved at 8:10 a.m. the charter for the Communications Subcommittee w/the indicated changes by the 20/20 Subcommittee o Revise the seven members proposed in the charter to be a minimum of four members. The initial members will be Mark Manasas, Bhumip Khasnabish, Harry Forsdick, and Glenn Parker. o Change the final criterion in the charter from "Submit reports and recommendations to the Board of Selectmen prior to distributing outside the members of this subcommittee and the 20120 Vision Committee. " to `Submit reports and recommendations directly to the 20120 Vision Committee for approval prior to any external distribution. " ■ Set up a joint meeting with the CompPlan Advisory Committee to discuss possible engagement. ■ Find the missing documents and conduct an inventory of formal reports that the 20/20 Committee has previously completed. Action Items ■ Fernando will reach out to the two citizens interested in joining the 20/20 Committee (Tracy Horn and Avram Baskin). ■ Fernando will restructure the Purpose of Observance Program. ■ Mark will ask for feedback on website proposals for the next meeting. ■ Rajon and Mark will work on getting the Communications Subcommittee charter and additional information submitted to the Town Clerk's Office.
