Town of Lexington <br /> 20/20 Vision Committee Meeting <br /> March 30,2018 <br /> Parker Room,Town Office Building <br /> 1625 Massachusetts Avenue 7:45 a.m.—9:00 a.m. <br /> Members Present: Peter Enrich, Dan Krupka, Andrew Dixon,Joe Pato, Margaret Coppe, Mark Manasas, <br /> Ginna Johnson, Fernando Quezada <br /> Members Absent: Bhumip Khasnabish, Kathleen Lenihan, Carroll Ann Bottino,Alan Wrigley, Peter Lee <br /> Visitor(s): Grant Carrow, Harry Forsdick <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:46 a.m. <br /> The minutes for March 2, 2018 were approved with one abstention from Ginna Johnson. <br /> The meeting was primarily devoted to <br /> ■ Reviewing the charter for the proposed Communications Subcommittee <br /> ■ Receiving updates on the Long Range Planning Process <br /> ■ Reviewing the Proposed Observance Program for January 2020 <br /> From discussions,we formulated the following decisions and action items: <br /> Decisions <br /> ■ Motion was properly seconded and approved at 8:10 a.m. the charter for the Communications <br /> Subcommittee w/the indicated changes by the 20/20 Subcommittee <br /> o Revise the seven members proposed in the charter to be a minimum of four members. <br /> The initial members will be Mark Manasas, Bhumip Khasnabish, Harry Forsdick, and <br /> Glenn Parker. <br /> o Change the final criterion in the charter from "Submit reports and recommendations to <br /> the Board of Selectmen prior to distributing outside the members of this subcommittee <br /> and the 20120 Vision Committee. " to `Submit reports and recommendations directly to <br /> the 20120 Vision Committee for approval prior to any external distribution. " <br /> ■ Set up a joint meeting with the CompPlan Advisory Committee to discuss possible engagement. <br /> ■ Find the missing documents and conduct an inventory of formal reports that the 20/20 <br /> Committee has previously completed. <br /> Action Items <br /> ■ Fernando will reach out to the two citizens interested in joining the 20/20 Committee (Tracy <br /> Horn and Avram Baskin). <br /> ■ Fernando will restructure the Purpose of Observance Program. <br /> ■ Mark will ask for feedback on website proposals for the next meeting. <br /> ■ Rajon and Mark will work on getting the Communications Subcommittee charter and additional <br /> information submitted to the Town Clerk's Office. <br />
