<br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee Minutes <br />MEETING OF February 27, 2018 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Lexington Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, held in Estabrook Hall, <br />Cary Memorial Building was called to order 6:30 p.m. by Sarah Felton, with members Stacy <br />Beutell, Hema Bhatt, Matthew Daggett, Marilyn Fenollosa, Camille Goodwin, Carol Sue Hai, <br />Leonard Morse-Fortier, Christian Senna, Patrick Sullivan, Ruixi Yuan, with Mr. Deepak Amenani <br />joining the meeting at a later time, and planning staff David Kucharsky, David Fields, and Assistant <br />Town Manager Carol Kowalski. <br /> <br />************************ Staff Reports & Updates************************ <br />Planning Staff updated the advisory committee with any known future dates for the ongoing panel <br />discussion series covering the topics of economic development, housing, and transportation. <br /> <br />********************Comprehensive Plan Overview Discussion******************* <br />Planning Staff revisited the comprehensive plan framework as presented to Annual Town Meeting <br />2017 and covered the expectations laid out in the framework, with further explanation on the <br />different project aspects covered under phase I and phase II. <br />Questions from the CPAC were fielded by staff and included a suggestion to develop an FAQ based <br />on feedback from the educator panels, contact other committees who currently gather data for their <br />own purposes, and further clarification on the role of the as-yet-to-be selected lead consultant. <br /> <br />******************** CPAC Governance******************* <br />Staff proposed a rotating chair for leadership structure, unless and until the committee vote on a <br />formalized structure, and a rotating clerk to take minutes each meeting. <br />******************** Recess******************* <br />The committee recessed at 6:50 PM to attend a panel discussion on transportation <br /> <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously voted to adjourn at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Prepared by David Fields <br /> <br />
