1 <br />439 <br />Selectmen's Meeting February 11, 1974 <br />After discussion, it was agreed to inform the Historic Districts <br />Commission that the Board feels that the construction of a driveway, <br />as proposed by the First Baptist Church, would not solve the problem <br />and coult conceivably create traffic hazards on what is already a con- <br />gested area. A loading zone would well serve their needs and would be <br />a more preferable solution than the construction of a circular drive- <br />way. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to instruct the <br />Traffic Safety Committee to make arrangements to install a loading <br />zone in front of the premises of the First Baptist Church for a trial <br />period of 90 days. <br />The. Board agreed to arrange a meeting with the Planning Board, Wachusett <br />the Street and Sidewalk Committee, and residents of Wachusett Drive Drive <br />and Wachusett Circle on next Monday evening, February 19. <br />Mr. Buse recommended that the bid for storm windows for Buckman <br />Tavern be awarded to R & M Wood Products_ Company of Brighton. Buckman <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to award the Tavern <br />contract for the installation of thirty-four storm windows on the Storm <br />Buckman Tavern to R & M Wood Products, Inc. in the amount of Windows <br />$3,520.00. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to go into Execu- <br />tive Session for the purpose of discussing, deliberating, or voting <br />on matters which, if made public, might adversely affect the public <br />security, the financial interests of the Town, or the reputation of a <br />person. <br />After discussion of matters of financial interest to the Town, it <br />was voted to go out of Executive Session. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at <br />10:30 p.m. <br />A true record, Attest: <br />Executive <br />Session <br />Executive Clerk, Selectmen <br />
