Selectmen's Meeting January 28, 1974 <br />VoterS <br />It <br />Bd. of Sel. <br />Article <br />107 To see if the Town will vote to amend the Official <br />Zoning Map of the Town by changing land owned by <br />Bruce A. and Herman E. Erikson from one family <br />residence RO to multi family dwelling RM, said <br />land is located at the intersection of Piper Road <br />and Waltham Street containing approximately 4.03 <br />acres <br />108 To s if the,talwni I approve a resolution in <br />subtlllyhh flowing language, and instruct <br />the ec en transmit said resolution to the <br />Office of the President of the United States <br />109 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum <br />of money from available funds toward the reduction <br />of the tax rate for the fiscal year <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to table the sign- <br />ing of the agreement between the Town and the Boston Edison Company <br />regarding easements for the Rangeway Trunk Sewer; Route 128 to the <br />Hartwell Avenue Trunk Sewer. <br />Acting Chairman Bailey read a letter from the White House, <br />signed by Terrence O'Donnell, Staff Assistant to the President, <br />as follows: <br />"Dear Mr. Kenney: <br />have been asked to acknowledge, for the President, the cordial <br />invitation you extended to him to participate in the rededication of <br />the Lexington Battle Green, to be held on Sunday, April 20, 1975. <br />The President appreciates your thoughtfulness of him in extending <br />this invitation and trusts you will understand that it is not possible <br />for him to commit his schedule for a date so far in the future at this <br />time. He will be pleased to have you contact him again in early 1975 <br />and at that time your invitation can be considered in light of the <br />President's schedule for the months to follow. <br />In the meantime, the President sends his very best wishes to'you <br />and the Lexington Board of Selectmen. <br />Mr. A Ian F.
