march 1781 Appointe a Comtee to Renew the Bound,
Round ye ministerial Land in said Town said Comtee met
for that purpose in June following & performed that serv
in the following manner (viz)
Began at a Stake & Stones by a Large White oak stump
by the Side of the Country Road & proceeded upon the
Easterly Side of Mr Marret Munros meadow to a White
oak Tree markt thence to an old Stump Stake & Stones
thence to an old Stump Stake & Stones thence to a Stake &
Stones thence to a Stump Stake & Stones there to a Stak
& Stones thene to a Gray oak Tree markt at the Corner
thence to a Stake in an old maple Stump thence to a Stake
& Stones at the Corner of Mr Moors Land thence to Stake
marked with Stones aboute it at the Corner against Mr John
Buckmans Land thence to a Stake & Stone, thenc to a
Great White oak Marked thene to a Less Ditto marked then
to Ditto marked thence to a Stake on the Ditch Bank
then upon said Ditch to a Great White oak marked thence
to a Great Gray oak markt thence to a Whiteoak markt
with a Brooken top thenc to a high Whit oak Stump
thence to a Stake & Stones by the Side of the County Road
(all the above said Bounds & marks are round that part of
the Towns Land Lying between Mr Marret Munros feild [field]
& his meadow)
The Comtee Began again at the Country Road at [missing]
westerly side of Mr Marret Munros meadow the Stone
wall being the Bound between the Towns Land & Said
Munros Meadow to a Great Whiteoak markt thence to
Stake in a Stump in or by the wall thence to Black
Burch [Birch] Tree markt thence to a Black burch markt at ye
Cornner than turnning westerly to a Great maple markt
in ye Swamp thence a Great Gray oak markt with
Stake & Stones by the Side of it thence to Whitoak markt
thence to a Stake & Stones at the Cornner thence to a
Whitoak markt to another Ditto to another Ditto thence
a Black oak marked thence to a Stake & Stones at ye Corn[ner]
a Black oak marked thence to a Stake & Stones at ye Corn[ner]
of Mr Buckmans & Mr Moors Land
Carried over
Thence upon the wall to Black oak marked thence to
a stake & stones at the cornner of the Towns Land by
Mr Amos Muzzy Land thence to a Black oak Tree
marked thence to a Black oak tree markt in the wall
thence to a small ditto markt thence to a stake in ye
wall at the cornner of Mr Muzzy Land by Major
Bridges wall then upon said wall thence to a maple
Tree in the swamp marked thence to a stake & stones
by the Road Leading to the Stones Cornner of the Town
thence to a stake & stones at the Cornner of Dee:
Stones & John Deeks & the Towns Land thence to a Stake
and Stones thence to a heap of stones thence to a
Wallnutt Tree markt & thence to a stump & heap stones
So upon the wall Down to the County Road
(The Last mentioned Bounderies or marks are Round the Large
Tract of the Towns Land)
