LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />September 26, 1985 <br />' Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the Town, published on September 12 and 19, 1985 and notice sent <br />by mail,postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions <br />of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office <br />Building on the petitions listed below. <br />Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor (except for the <br />Maguire Road hearing), Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. <br />Scigliano, Associate William C. Hays, and Associate Eric T. Clarke for the 20 <br />Maguire Road hearing. <br />20 Maguire Road: Dupree Associates asked for a review of the plan to control <br />traffic impact at the site of the office building, known as Kiln Brook V at <br />20 Maguire Road. <br />269-777 Bedford Street: Mobil Oil Corporation requested a variance of dimensional <br />controls, Section 7.1 and Table II, to permit the construction of a new flat deck <br />canopy over the pump islands at the gasoline service station at 269-277 Bedford <br />Street. <br />269-277 Bedford Street: Mobil Oil Corporation requested a special permit, in <br />accordance with sign regulations Zoning By -Law Section 10, to erect two free <br />standing, illuminated, signs at 269-277 Bedford Street. <br />35 Bedford Street: Health Stop Personal Physician Care requested a special permit, <br />in accordance with Zoning By -Law Section 10, Sign Regulations, to install a double - <br />faced internally illuminated standing sign within the right of way between the Gulf <br />Gas Station and the Fire Station, to which Liberties Condominium Association and <br />the Gulf Station have exclusive rights, to identify Health Stop, 35 Bedford Street. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />20 Ma ui a Rd. -Traffic Plan accepted by vote of 4 to 1, W.C. Hays not in favor. <br />269-277 Bedford St. - Variance denied by unanimous vote. <br />269-277 Bedford St. - SP for one standing sign granted by unanimous vote. <br />35 Bedford St. -.SP for a standing sign granted by unanimous vote. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:58 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
