LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 9, 1985 <br />Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the Town, published on April 25 and May 2, 1985 and notice sent <br />by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions <br />of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office <br />Building on the petitions listed below. <br />Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Vice Chairman <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. Scigliano, and Clarence D. Turner. <br />10 Pearl Street: Robert Mabardy requested a special permit, in accordance <br />with Zoning By -Law Section 5.7, for the construction of an inground swimming <br />pool. <br />72 Lowell Street: David and Janice Hui requested a special permit, in accord- <br />ance with Zoning By -Law Section 5.3, for the alteration of a one family dwell- <br />ing to accommodate two families. <br />371 Massachusetts Avenue: Paul H. Budlong, North Shore, Inc., d/b/a Party Pal <br />requested a special permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Section 10.2.5 <br />(Sign Regulations) to allow the installation of an internally illuminated wall <br />sign at 371 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />537 Lowell Street: Hugh M. Leichtman requested a special permit, pursuant to <br />Table 1, line 9.1 and Section 3.3, to continue to use the remodeled barn at <br />537 Lowell Street for living quarters under the same conditions of the previous <br />special permit. <br />35 Bedford Street: A request by Health Stop Medical Management, Inc. for a <br />standing sign was made, BUT the application was withdrawn before a.hearing was <br />advertised. <br />1088 Massachusetts Avenue: A request by Wendy Tighe -Hendrickson for a special <br />permit to use a portion of her residence as an office was made, BUT petitioner <br />requested that the petition not be heard on this date. <br />211 Massachusetts Avenue: Gaye Pickrel, Goodies to Go requested a special permit <br />in accordance with Section 3.3 and Table 1, lines 6.12, 6.13 and 6.14 to operate <br />an ice cream and dessert shoppe and a kitchen for Goodies take out menu. <br />21 Pearl Street: Michael L. Libin requested a variance of dimensional controls, <br />Section 7.4.1 b, to allow construction of an addition which would have insuffi- <br />cient side yard. <br />30 Albemarle Avenue: Mary T. Brennan requested a variance of Section 7 and Table <br />2 to construct a dwelling at 30 Albemarle Avenue. <br />26 Liberty <br />Avenue: Elizabeth <br />M. Gaughan requested a variance of dimensional <br />controls, <br />Section 7 and Table <br />2, to construct a dwelling with insufficient <br />setback at <br />26 Liberty Avenue. <br />
