LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />1 March 28, 1985 <br />Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the Town, published on March 14 and 21, 1985 and notice sent <br />by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions <br />of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearing were held in the Town Office <br />Building on the petitions listed below. <br />Acting on the petitions were: Acting Chairman Robert M. Gary, Anne R. <br />Scigliano, and Associate Members: Susan S. Beck, Eric T. Clarke and John J. <br />McWeeney. <br />2 Wallis Ct., Wallis Court Associates. Petition for a variance from Zoning <br />By -Law Section 11 (Off -Street Parking and Loading) to reduce the number of <br />required parking spaces or reduce required setback, or reduce maneuvering <br />space at 2 Wallis Court. <br />324 Marrett Road, Gulf Refining & Marketing Co. requested a special permit, in <br />accordance with Zoning By -Law Sign Regulations, for the addition of an illumin- <br />ated sign to be located below the existing Gulf pole sign at 324 Marrett Road. <br />229 Follen Rd., Bruce A. Maloof, Ph.D. requested a special permit in accordance <br />with Zoning By -Law Section 3.3 and Table 1, line 8.3, to continue to use a <br />portion of his residence as an office. <br />58 Middle St., Thomas M. and Virginia A. R. Cahill requested a special permit, <br />in accordance with Table 1, line 9.1, to allow a trailer on their lot to be <br />used as a temporary dwelling while extensive renovations are made to the <br />interior of the house. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />2 Wallis Ct. - Variance denied unanimously (petitioners did not appear at hearing). <br />324 Marrett Rd. - SP granted by vote of 4 to 1 (Mr. McWeeney opposed). <br />229 Follen Rd. - SP granted unanimously (expires 4/14/90). <br />58 Middle St. - SP granted unanimously (expires 3/28/86). <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:52 p.m. <br />Note: Please see decisions <br />for details.
