LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />February 28, 1985 <br />Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the Town, published on February 14 and 21, 1985 and notice <br />sent by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the <br />provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the <br />Town Office Building on the petitions listed below. Acting on the petitions <br />were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. <br />Gary, Anne R. Scigliano and Associate Member Mary W. Miley. <br />22 Muzzey St., Daniel C. Yuill, Twenty Muzzey Realty Trust, requested a special <br />permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Section 5.3, for the conversion of a <br />one family dwelling to accommodate two families. <br />31 Chase Ave., Elaine M. Sullivan requested a special permit, in accordance <br />with Zoning By -Law Section 7.4.9, for the continued use of the single family <br />house at 31 Chase Avenue. <br />197 Massachusetts Ave., Richard Vasapolli requested a special permit, in <br />accordance with Table 1, line 6.6, for a Karate School for group, private, <br />children's classes and arobics at 197 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />2 Wallis Court, Wallis Court Associates requested a variance from Sec. 11 (Off - <br />Street Parking & Loading) to reduce the number of required parking spaces, or <br />reduce required setback, or reduce maneuvering space at 2 Wallis Court. <br />6 North Hancock St., Richard P. Folsom. A hearing, held on January 24 was con- <br />tinued to February 14 and then further continued to February 28, because at the <br />January 24 hearing (on the request to extend its take out food service, by add- <br />ing seafood products & poultry at the food market) Petitioner said that he <br />wished to be allowed to cook the food on the premises before selling it. Many <br />neighbors had great objection to the frying of fish. At the Feb. 28 meeting <br />Board Members continued its discussion in an attempt to arrive at a final <br />decision, including conditions of a permit, if granted. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />22 Muzzey St. <br />- SP <br />granted <br />by <br />unanimous vote. <br />31 Chase Ave. <br />- SP <br />granted <br />by <br />unanimous vote. <br />197 Mass Ave. <br />- SP <br />granted <br />by <br />unanimous vote. <br />6 No. Hancock <br />St. -SP <br />granted <br />(4 <br />to 1, Mr. Gary not in favor). Exp. date 3/1/87. <br />2 Wallis Court hearing was continued to March 28, by unanimous vote. <br />The Board discussed the Planning Board's Proposed By -Law Changes with the <br />Planning Board. No formal action was taken. It is expected that the proposed <br />changes will be further revised prior to being submitted to Town Meeting. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:25 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />• C, <br />Evelyn F.
