LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />October 25, 1984 <br />The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at 7:45 P.M. <br />Present for the photograph for the 1984 Annual Town Report were: Regular Members: <br />Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. Scigliano and Clarence D. Turner; <br />Associate Members: Susan S. Beck, Eric T. Clarke, William C. Hays and Mary W. Miley; <br />and Administrative Clerk Evelyn F. Cole. <br />Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -man, a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the Town, published on September 27 and October 4, 1984 and notice sent by mail, <br />postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts <br />General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office Building on the petitions <br />listed below. <br />Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. <br />Scigliano, Clarence D. Turner and Associate Member Eric T. Clarke. <br />68 Farmcrest Ave., Raymond M. and Regina L. Carberry requested a variance of.dimensional <br />controls (Section 7.1 and Table 2) to complete construction of a proposed expanded <br />front entryway. (A hearing was held on Sept. 20. Petitioner asked for a further <br />public hearing at which time he would have further information.) <br />1666 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington Square Trust requested a special permit for a <br />standing sign, pursuant to ZBL Sections 10.4.4c and 10.1.4). <br />265 Lowell St., Fairlawn Nursing Home, Inc. requested a special permit for a standing <br />sign, pursuant to ZBL Sections 10.4.4c and 10.1.4, to replace an existing sign. <br />' 10 Maguire Rd., Itek Corp. requested a special permit, pursuant to ZBL Section 3.4 <br />and other related sections to allow additions for the following uses: research and <br />testing laboratories, manufacturing, processing or storing goods and materials as <br />related to research and testing activities, and such accessory uses to permit same, <br />pursuant to ZBL Table 1, lines 7.2, 8.14 and 8.15. <br />10 Maguire Rd., Itek Corp, requested a variance from Section 7, dimensional controls, <br />to allow the maximum height of an addition, identified as the "M" wing to be fifty- <br />nine (59) feet. <br />10 Maguire Rd., Itek Corp. requested a special permit to reserve an area for future <br />parking spaces, required by Section 11.3 for new building additions. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />68 Farmcrest Ave. - Variance granted by vote of 4 to 1 (Mr. Turner voting in the <br />negative). <br />1666 Mass. Ave. - SP granted, unanimously. <br />265 Lowell St. - SP granted, unanimously. <br />10 Maguire Rd. - SPS granted, unanimously (for additions). <br />10 Maguire Rd. - Variance granted, unanimously (height of "M" building). <br />10 Maguire Rd. - SP for future parking granted unanimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:17 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />ce-c <br />Evelyn F.
