Decisions filed using SHORT FORM (111�x8), instead of legal, for the first time. <br />(per chairman of Board) <br />LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 24, 1984 <br />Y <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Roan at <br />7:45 P.M. <br />Present and acting on petitions were: Thomas G. Taylor, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman <br />Anne R. Scigliano <br />Clarence D. Turner <br />John J. McWeeney, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following eight petitions. <br />537 Lowell St., Hugh M. Leichtman requested a temporary special permit to continue <br />the use of the remodeled "barn" as living quarters solely for use by a person <br />employed by Dr. Leichtman to care for his child, and that person's family, subject <br />to the same conditions of the former permit. <br />307 Wood St., James V. Cosgrove requested special permits to continue to operate a <br />roadside stand for the purpose of selling poultry, eggs, plants, produce, wood, <br />Christmas trees and wreaths in season, and also to use the standing sign with <br />removable inserts, used only when the stand is in operation. <br />33 Center St., Kenneth A. and Beverly A. Mills requested a special permit, pursuant <br />to ZBL Section 5.7, for construction of an above ground swimming pool. <br />195 Woburn St., Elaine Paul requested a special permit, pursuant to Sections 3.3 and <br />7.4.9, to allow a shed and pool house to remain as located. <br />' 12 Glen Rd., Fleming M. Fox requested a variance of dimensional controls (ref. ZBL <br />Sections 6 and 7 and Table 2) to add an addition to the (100 yr. old) house at 12 <br />Glen Rd. The addition would have insufficient side yard adjacent to Oakland St. <br />65 Cliffe Ave., Mary T. Brennan requested a variance of ZBL dimensional controls, <br />Section 7 and Table 2, to allow a house to be built at 65 Cliffe Ave. with <br />insufficient side yard. <br />34 Cary Ave., Thomas C. and Mildred Bartee requested a variance of ZBL dimensional <br />controls (ref. Sections 6, 7 and Table 2) to add an 8'x8'3 addition to the rear of <br />the house (built in 1926). The addition would be no closer to the lot line than <br />the existing structure. <br />53 Simonds Rd., Malcolm & Victoria Blier requested a special permit, pursuant to ZBL <br />Sections 3.3 and 7.4.9, to allow the garage to remain as located; and a variance of <br />Section 7 and Table 2 to add a deck on the easterly side of the house. <br />The Chairman agreed to write a letter of thanks to Erik Lund, who represented <br />the Board at the Mass. Appeals Court (Case No. 83-1272, the Planning Board et al, <br />v. the Board of Appeals, et al (the "Butts" case, 258 Marrett Rd.). <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk: Granted: 537 Lowell St., 307 Wood St., <br />33 Center St., 195 Woburn St., 12 Glen Rd., 34 Cary Ave. and 53 Simonds Rd. <br />Denied: 65 Cliffe Ave. All decisions dere by unanimous vote. <br />From this time forward all decisions will be typed using the short form, per <br />instructions of Chairman Thomas G.
