1 <br />I I <br />5 <br />LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />,Ianuary.26 1984 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />at 7:45 P.M. Present and acting on petitions were: <br />Thomas G. Taylor, Chairman <br />(except for 38 Adams St. hearing) <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman <br />Robert M. Gary <br />Anne R. Scigliano <br />Clarence D. Turner <br />"Sat" and acted upon 38 Adams <br />Street hearing: <br />Jonathan P. Doran, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />36 Percy Rd., Arlene E. Way requested a special permit for the continued use of <br />the garage as located 6 feet from a side lot line. <br />8 Carriage Dr., Allen Batzinger requested a variance of dimensional controls, <br />Section 7 and Table 2, to construct a boatport 11 feet from a side lot line. <br />73 Grassland St., Barbara and Ronald DeMille requested a variance to allow 5.9 <br />ft. side yard for existing stairs. <br />38 Adams St., George S. Redick requested a specisl permit to operate and maintain <br />a commercial greenhouse and retail nursery business for the growing of orchids <br />and ferns and sale of them by mail order and limited appointment in accordance <br />with Zoning By -Law Table 1, Line 3.2 (RO zone). <br />93 Hancock St., Lexington Gardens requested a special permit to continue to store <br />and sell the supplementary items, listed under Zoning By -Law Section 5.5 (Nurseries) <br />Paragraph 1, for two years. <br />92-100 Hammen Ave., Mortimer B. Zuckerman and Edward H. Linde, Trustees of 92 <br />Hayden Ave. Trust, requested (1) to modify the existing permits for the property <br />at 92-100 Hayden Ave. to permit the uses as set forth in the current ZBL Table 1, <br />line 7.2, for the existing building; and (2) a special permit together with site <br />plan review under provisions of ZBL Section 3.4 in order to construct and operate <br />an additional building for office and research park purposes for the uses provided <br />in ZBL Table 1, Lines 4.1 - 4.4 and 7.2. <br />92-100 Hayden Ave., Mortimer B. Zuckerman and Edward <br />Hayden Ave. Trust, requested a variance under ZBL Sec <br />minimum width of parking aisles from 24 feet, as spec <br />to 20 feet. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />36 Percy Rd. - SP granted, unanimously. <br />8 Carriage Dr. - Variance granted, unanimously. <br />73 Grassland St. - Variance granted, unanimously. <br />38 Adams St. — Special Permit denied.
