LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 11, 1983 <br />The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at 7:40 p.m. <br />Present and acting on petitions were: <br />Thomas G. Taylor, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Ri£fin, Vice Chairman. <br />Associates: Laurence K. Redgate <br />William C. Hays <br />Jonathan P. Doran <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />134 Lowell St., Russell A. Serino requested a special permit, pursuant to Section <br />6.2 (repairs and structural changes to non -conforming structures) to extend the <br />living room by enclosing a portion of a porch and rebuilding the remaining portion <br />as a porch. <br />8 Phinney Rd., J. David Tavilla and Dorothea R. Tavilla requested a special permit, <br />pursuant to Sections 7.4.9 and 3.3, to allow a swimming pool and cabana to remain <br />as located since 1968. <br />29 Barberry Rd., Judith V. Jordan and. William M. Redpath requested a special permit, <br />pursuant to Section 3.3 and Table 1 (Use Regulation Schedule) line 8.2, to use a <br />portion (rooms in basement) of their residence at 29 Barberry Rd. as offices. <br />' 13 Maple St., David Hughes requested a variance of dimensional controls (ref..Sec. 7 <br />and Table 2) for an addition (41x8' - modular solar bay) at 13 Maple St. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />134 Lowell St. - SP granted unanimously. <br />8 Phinney Rd_ - SP to allow pool to remain as located (unanimously granted). <br />SP to allow cabana to remain as located (granted 4 to 1, Hays <br />voting in the negative). <br />29 Barberry Rd. - Petitioners requested that the hearing be held on Sept. 8.
