LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS <br />February 24, 1983 <br />The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present and <br />acting on petitions: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman, <br />Natalie H. Riffin, vice Chairman, <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Jonathan P. Doran, Associate <br />Anne R. Scigliano, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />81-83 Hartwell Ave., Dupree Associates requested a special permit for installation <br />of granite sign piers at entrance to Kilnbrook II, office building, at 81-83 Hart- <br />well Ave. (ref. ZBL Sign Regulations Section 10). <br />131 Hartwell Ave., Dupree Associates requested a special permit for installation of <br />granite sign piers at entrance to Kilnbrook III, office building, at 131 Hartwell <br />Ave. (ref. ZBL Sign Regulations Section 10). <br />26 Barberry Road, Norman L. Paul, M.D. and Betty B. Paul, L.I.C.S.W., requested a <br />special permit to continue to use a portion of their dwelling as a part-time office <br />for the practice of medicine and for multi -family group meetings. Petitioners wish <br />to have a special permit for as long as they live in this house. (Ref. ZBL Section <br />3.3 and Table 1, line 8.2). <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />81-83 Hartwell Ave. - SP granted unanimously. <br />131 Hartwell Ave. - SP granted unanimously. <br />26 Barberry Rd. - SP granted unanimously for 5 years (exp. 2/24/88). <br />The Board met in executive session on matters under litigation. Ruth Morey, <br />former Chairman of the Board; William J. Scouler, a former Associate Member; and <br />Eric T. Clarke, Associate Member were present;, also Attorney Erik Lund. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:58 p.m. <br />Note: Permits are usually subject <br />to conditions.
