LEXING` O14 BOARD OF APPEALS <br />February 10, 1983 <br />The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present and <br />acting on petitions were: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman, <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman, <br />Robert M. Gary, <br />Irving H. Mabee, <br />Thomas G. Taylor. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />90 Hancock St., Harold R. and Helen M. Millican requested a special permit to con- <br />tinue to operate a private school for the instruction and study of swimming in the <br />private enclosed swimming pool at the rear of their property (ref. Section 3.3 and <br />Table 1, line 2.2). <br />739 Mass. Ave., Waldorf School requested a special permit to operate a private, non- <br />sectarian school (ZBL Table 10 line 2.2) for students, nursery through grade 8. The <br />1982 Annual Town Meeting, Article 55, authorized the Selectmen to sell the Adams <br />School Building to be used as a private school by the Waldorf School Inc. <br />443 Lincoln St., Albert R. Piantedosi requested a variance to allow temporary parking <br />of motor vehicles (ref. ZBL Table 1, 5.2 & 5.4) within a fenced area in conjunction <br />with a grandfathered non -conforming use (body shop) and the towing of disabled cars <br />which is otherwise authorized. A variance has been in effect over a ten year period; <br />no changes. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />90 Hancock St. <br />739 Mass. Ave. <br />443 Lincoln St. <br />- SP granted unanimously for 5 years (expiration date: 2/13/88). <br />- SP granted unanimously. <br />- Variance granted unanimously for 2 years (exp. date: 1/16/85). <br />The Board discussed the lengthy documents prepared with respect to suggested <br />action to be taken with regard to accessory apartments. No formal action was taken. <br />The Board voted unanimously to adopt and include Article VI and add it to its <br />Rules And Regulations. Article VI describes the data to be provided with applica- <br />tions for special permits (SPS) with Site Plan Review under Zoning By -Law Section 3.4. <br />The Board met in executive session on matters under litigation. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:52 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />C`47- N'--7�'4'� <br />Evelyn F.
