TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />BOARD OF APPEALS <br />September 16, 1982 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present and acting on petitions: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman <br />Robert M. Gary <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Associates: William C. Hays <br />Eric T. Clarke <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions: <br />3 Abbott Road, Jane L. Forsyth requested a special permit to use a portion of <br />her residence for an office for counseling services. (1980 - 1st SP) <br />287 Marrett Road, Michael and Joyce Jansen requested a variance of dimensional <br />controls to change an entrance from the rear to the side of the residence for <br />better access. New uncovered porch and stairs will have a side yard of 5' <br />instead of 7121. Ref. ZBL Section 7 & Table 2. <br />331 Concord Avenue, Louis J. Cannizzo requested a special permit to ratify the <br />use of his two-family home, which is located in an RO-single-family district. <br />The house was converted to two-family by a previous owner without a special <br />permit. He wishes to add an addition to the rear. Ref. ZBL Table 1, line 1.6 <br />(dwelling conversion to 2 -family) and section 6.3 (enlarging non -conforming <br />2 -family house). <br />2 and 3 Forbes Road, Honeywell, Inc. requested a special permit, pursuant to <br />Table 1, line 9.1 and Section 3.3, to allow for the temporary use of up to <br />sixteen office trailers on the property. Honeywell has moved part of its <br />operation to a leased building in Wilmington and is presently in the process of <br />completing plans to move an additional part of its operation to Marlboro. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk: (all decisions were unanimous) <br />3 Abbott Rd. - SP granted to Jane L. Forsyth only for 5 years (expires 7/31/87). <br />287 Marrett Road - Variance granted. <br />331 Concord Ave. - SP granted to ratify the use of the two-family residence. <br />2 & 3 Forbes Rd. - SP granted (expiration date - October 13, 1983). <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
