TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />' BOARD OF APPEALS <br />September 9, 1982 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present and acting on petitions: Natalie H. Turner <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions: <br />30 Taft Avenue, Joseph and Jody Petner requested a variance of dimensional <br />controls for an addition which would have a side yard of 14' from Sutherland <br />Road instead of the required 201. Ref. ZBL Section 7 and Table 2. <br />5 Revolutionary Road, John G. Desmond requested a variance of dimensional <br />controls to remodel and enlarge a one -car garage into a two -car garage with a <br />side yard of 715" instead of the required 151. Ref. ZBL Section 7 & Table 2. <br />171 Massachusetts Avenue, Coolidge Bank and Trust Company requested a special <br />permit for the internal illumination of an existing sign on the building at <br />171 Mass. Ave. Ref. ZBL sign regulations, Section 10.2.5. <br />' 314 Bedford Street, John R. Clark & Associates, Inc. requested a special permit <br />for a standing sign for Parker Manor Condominiums. Ref. ZBL Sec. 10.4.4. <br />85 Hartwell Avenue, Boston Properties, requested to extend and/or renew both of <br />the variances, as originally granted to them, as follows: (a) To vary the max— <br />imum percentage of compact automobile spaces from 15% as specified in ZBL <br />Section 9.8.2 to 24.63% and (b} to vary the minimum width of.parking aisles from <br />24' as set forth in ZBL Section 9.8.2 to 201. The special permit for an office <br />and research development and special permit under National Flood Insurance <br />District granted for this Site remain valid for 2 years from 8/26/81. variances <br />are valid for one year and may be reestablished only after a new hearing. No <br />changes have been made from the Site Plan previously approved. <br />319 Woburn Street, BayBank Harvard Trust Company requested a special permit to <br />install and maintain small automatic teller machines for 24 hour banking <br />convenience in the existing building at 319 Woburn Street (owned by Countryside, <br />Inc.) Ref. ZBL Table 1, line 6.4 and Section 3.3. <br />319 Woburn Street, BayBank Harvard Trust Company requested a special permit for <br />a roof sign to be internally illuminated 24 hours per day. Ref. ZB Sign Regs. <br />Section 10., esp. 10.1.4 and 10.2.5. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk: <br />' 30 Taft Ave. - Variance granted unanimously. <br />5 Revolutionary Rd.
