BOARD OF APPEALS <br />June 24, 1982 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present and acting on petitions: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman <br />Robert M. Gary <br />Associates: Eric T. Clarke <br />Anne R. Scigliano <br />Clarence D. Turner <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions: <br />Forbes Rd. & Marrett Rd. (state land), Honeywell, Inc. requested a special permit <br />to allow for the erection of a standing sign at the corner, to be used by Nolan, <br />Norton and Co., Unitrode and Honeywell. Sign would be illuminated. <br />80 Bedford St., Human Resources Consulting, Inc. requested a special permit to <br />allow a change of use from the existing non -conforming use as a funeral home to <br />use as a single tenant office building. <br />80 Westview St., John A. and Martha B. Rizzo, Trustees requested a variance from <br />Table 2 Dimensional Controls (ref. Section 7.4.4) to allow less than 25 ft. side <br />and rear yards for a proposed addition to the existing building (Section 6), which <br />will continue to be used as a photographic laboratory and assembly area for audio/ <br />visual materials (Use Reqs. Table 1, lines 7.2 & (7.1 - special permit -SPS). Also <br />requested is a temporary special permit, pursuant to Table 1, line 9.1, to maintain <br />a temporary structure on the property during the reconstruction period. <br />Mellex Rd. @ Bedford Town Line, Dupree Associates requested a special permit (SPS - <br />3.4) to construct a 3 -story building (Kilnbrook V) on Mellex Rd. @ Bedford Town <br />Line on land zoned CM (manufacturing research park), 4 parcels of land: Lexington <br />Map 85, lots 13 & 14; Bedford Map 84, parcel 18 and Mpa 79, parcel 59. Applicant <br />requests time period for special permit to be two years. <br />Mellex Rd. @ Bedford Town Line, Dupree Associates requested a special permit (pur- <br />smant to ZBL Section 9.6 - National Flood Insurance District, with respect to <br />3 -story building (Kilnbrook V). Request is made concurrently with request for <br />special permit (SPS) being advertised at the same time. Applicant requests time <br />period for special permit to be two years. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />Forbes Rd. & Marrett Rd. - SP granted unanimously. <br />80 Bedford _St. - SP denied unanimously. <br />80 Westview St. - Special Permits and Variances granted unanimously. <br />Mellex Rd. (SPS) — decision deferred, hearing to be continued on Aug. 12. <br />Mellex Rd. (SP -flood ins. dist.)
