BOARD OF APPEALS <br />March 25, 1982 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman (acting chairman) <br />Associates: William C. Hays <br />Ruth Morey <br />Anne Scigliano <br />Clarence D. Turner <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions (3). <br />76 Bloomfield St., Charles H. and Marguerite M. Gager requested variance of <br />dimensional controls to construct a two-story addition (251x7h') to front of <br />house (built in 1908). The addition will replace an existing single -story, <br />open porch (231x7li'). Also - requested to add an attached screened porch <br />(201x73i') to west side of existing structure. Front yard setback to steps <br />will be 221, instead of the required 301; setback to porch will be 27'. <br />20 Waltham St., Cory's of Lexington, Inc. requested a special permit for a <br />projecting sign. <br />363 Massachusetts Avenue, Ruth Benoit d/b/a The Kitchen requested a special <br />' permit to extend hours of operation of restaurant and take-out service. - <br />Special Permit granted in 1979 allows hours to 7:00 p.m. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />76 Bloomfield St. <br />Variance granted unanimously. <br />20 Waltham St. <br />SP denied unanimously. <br />363 Mass. Ave. <br />SP granted allowing closing hours (as follows) for 2 years (exp. date 3/25/84) <br />Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - no orders may be taken after <br />9:30 p.m. Closing hour 10:00 p.m. sharp. <br />Friday and Saturday - no orders may be taken after 10:30 p.m. <br />Closing hour 11:00 p.m. sharp. <br />Conditions of 1979 SP remain valid. A new condition states that the rear <br />door of restaurant may be used for employees, deliveries and as an emergency <br />exit for customers.
