�I <br />BOARD O APPEALS <br />Novembe 19, 1981 <br />7:3 p.m. <br />The Board of Appe s held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Jonathan P. Doran, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions (5). <br />10 Battle Green Road, Larry E. and Doris Ullrich Miller - special permit to <br />maintain the premises at 10 Battle Green Road as located with less than the <br />required front yard setback. <br />14 Boulder Road, Kent R. Loomis - special permit to maintain an existing porch <br />which is 10.3 ft, from a side lot line instead of the required 15 ft. <br />20 Waltham Street, Cory's of Lexington, Inc. - special permit to establish a <br />moderately priced restaurant featuring American fish and beef luncheon and <br />dinner specialties at 20 Waltham St. <br />1403 Massachusetts Avenue, Adams -Russell Co., Inc. - special permit for the <br />purpose of providing a television studio to broadcast community programming on <br />closed circuit and maintain ancillary support function by Lexington's cable <br />vision operator in that portion of the ground floor and first floor of the <br />building shown as rooms 5, 6, assembly, stage and 4 storage rooms in the former <br />Munroe School building at 1403 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />7'-8 <br />„74r Waltham Street, Manuel G. Rose, Jr. - special permit for a one year period <br />to operate a shop for light repairs to vehicles and to perform ornamental weld- <br />ing. Mr. Rose has engaged in this work for years and requests permission to <br />continue. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />10 Battle Green Road - SP granted unanimously. <br />14 Boulder Road - SP granted unanimously (for porch). <br />20 Waltham Street - SP granted unanimously. <br />1403 Mass. Ave. - SP granted (vote 4 to 1, Mr. Mabee <br />7AT Waltham St. - <br />(expires 11/19/84) <br />in opposition) <br />SP granted unanimously (expires 11/19/82) <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:57 p.m. <br />Note: Special Permits usually have <br />been granted with conditions.
