BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 27, 1981 <br />' 7:30 P.M. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman <br />Robert M. Gary <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Jonathan P. Doran, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions (6). <br />46 Lowell St., Jonathan E. Ludlow - variance of dimensional controls to maintain a <br />garage as presently located with insufficient rear and side yard setbacks. <br />235 Bedford St., Harry Knight - variance of dimensional controls to allow the <br />existing building to remain as located at 235 Bedford St. No use change is intended <br />or expanded. <br />424 Bedford St., Boston Properties - special permit to erect a temporary, free <br />standing sign during the construction of the office complex on the Site. <br />20 Waltham St., Postmark Steak House, Inc. (Melting Pot International, Inc.'s <br />building), Edward V. Jigarjian, Trustee - special permit to establish a restaurant <br />business at 20 Waltham St. (C9 zoning district). <br />60 Bedford St., Baybank Harvard Trust - special permit to install and maintain (in <br />a part of the existing building and proposed addition) at 60 Bedford St., automatic <br />teller machines for 24 hour banking use. The property is zoned CB -Central Business <br />District. <br />60 Bedford St., Baybank Harvard Trust - special permit to install an internally <br />illuminated sign at 60 Bedford St. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk and/or other action. <br />46 Lowell St. - Variance granted unanimously. <br />235 Bedford 5t. - Variance granted unanimously. <br />424 Bedford St. - SP denied unanimously. <br />60 Bedford St. - SP granted unanimously. (bank use) <br />60 Bedford St. - SP granted unanimously.
