BOARD OF APPEALS <br />September 11, 1980 <br />' 7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Eric T. Clarke, Associate <br />William -J. Scouler <br />Robert V. Whitman. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />4 Frances Rd., Stephen Hintlian - variance to maintain an existing house as located. <br />57 Woburn St., Rachel M. and Carlton E. Higgins - variance to maintain the existing <br />dwelling as located. <br />5 Donald St., Robert Murray - variances to maintain existing lot and structures. <br />20 Waltham St., Melting Pot International, Inc., Edward V. Jigarjian - special <br />permits to includo fast food service and take out food service at food store. <br />424 Bedford St., Boston Properties - special permit under Lexington Zoning By-law <br />Section 9.6, Natiqnal Flood Insurance District. <br />Walnut St, and Co cord Ave., formerly Powder Horn Golf Course, Trustees of Potter <br />Pond Trust, Paul 0. Boyd and F. William Smith - variance to allow for the construc- <br />tion and use of nine four -car garages and a variance of dimensional controls to allow <br />less than 30 feet between buildings (2 garages) and also a revision of the special <br />permit granted by the Board so as to allow for the above variances. <br />Decisions Mi ed with the Town Clerk. <br />4 Frances Rd. - g#anted unanimously. <br />57 Woburn St. - granted unanimously. <br />5 Donald St. - granted unanimously. <br />20 Waltham St. - granted unanimously. <br />424 Bedford St. - granted unanimously. <br />Potter Pond - decisions: granted unanimously the variances to allow 9 4 -car garages <br />and revision of the former special permit, granted 2/14/80 <br />to allow the 4 -car garages. <br />denied unanimously a variance to allow 30' between garages. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:25 p.m. <br />Respectfully, submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
