BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 28, 1980 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Natalie H. Riffin <br />Eric T. Clarke, Associate <br />William J. Scouler, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />80 Baker Ave., Harty A. Bakow - variance of dimensional controls to maintain exist- <br />ing house, built in 1948, as located. <br />2 Burns Rd., Jan Jonas - variance of dimensional controls to build a garage. <br />211 Mass. Ave., The Mang Corp., the main principals being, Frank X. Manganaro, <br />Nanette Manganaro, and Ronald Manganaro special permit to operate a food service <br />establishment. <br />Lot 2, Rockville Ave., owned by John H. Shea Realty Trust - An Appeal (the Board <br />having received a notice of appeal with reference to the denial of a building permit <br />by the Building Commissioner for Lot 2, Rockville Ave.) <br />258 Marrett Rd. (lot 4), Robert F. Butts and Lynne M. Butts - An Appeal (the Board <br />having received a notice of appeal with reference to the denial of a building permit <br />by the Building Commissioner for lot 4.) <br />Decisions filed,with the Town Clerk. <br />80 Baker Ave. - granted unanimously. <br />2 Burns Rd. - denied by vote of 4 to 1 (Clarke voting in favor). <br />211 Mass. Ave. - granted unanimously. <br />Lot 2, Rockville Ave. - Building Commissioner's decision upheld. (denial of appeal) <br />(please see decision for details) <br />258 Marrett Rd. (logit 4) - Board voted 4 to 1 to reverse the denial (Morey voting in <br />opposition).
