BOARD OF APPEALS <br />' July 31, 1980 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman Note: Eric T. Clarke sat for the hearing re. <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead 424 Bedford St., Boston Properties, instead <br />Irving H. Mabee of Thomas G. Taylor, as he did on June 12. <br />Natalie ff. Riffin <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />3 Abbott Rd., Jane L. Forsyth - special permit to engage in a home occupation of <br />counseling services. <br />38 Normandy Rd., Richard M. Penta - variance from dimensional controls to reconstruct <br />and extend the front wall of existing single-family dwelling. The front yard setback <br />will be 24 feet instead of the required 30 feet. <br />35 Woodcliffe Rd., Leon Gunther - variance from dimensional controls to allow a <br />front yard setback of 25 feet instead of 30 feet. <br />54 Tarbell Ave., Russell A. Lemoine - variance to maintain the existing house as <br />located with insufficient setbacks. Also, a variance so that an existing porch may <br />be repaired, enclosed and enlarged resulting in a further side yard variance. <br />The Board of Appeals by legal notice, etc. reopened the public hearing held <br />June 12 on the petition of Boston Properties for special permits to construct and <br />use a two -building multi -tenant office complex to be located on 21 acres of land, <br />zoned CH - hotel, office, research park. See letter to Town Clerk, Legals, etc. <br />424 Bedford St., Boston Properties. (see June 12 hearings) <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />3 Abbott Rd. - unanimously granted for 2 years (expires 7/31/82). <br />38 Normandy Rd. - unanimously granted. <br />35 Woodcliffe Rd. - unanimously granted. <br />54 Tarbell Ave. - unanimously granted. <br />424 Bedford St. Dates clarified re. 424 Bedford St. <br />SPS - unanimously granted and. Hearing - 6/12/80 (decision postponed);. <br />variances - unanimously granted. Vote to re -open for further info. 6/26/80; <br />(see decisions for details).
