1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 22, 1980 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Natalie H. Ri.ffin <br />William J. Scouler, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions. <br />307 Wood St., James V. Cosgrove - renewal of a special permit to continue to <br />operate a roadside stand for the purpose of selling poultry, eggs, plants, <br />produce and wood and also Christmas trees and wreaths in season. <br />241 Worthen Rd., East, Joel S. Berman - variance of dimensional controls to <br />maintain an existing dwelling as located. <br />10 Pelham Rd., Grey Nuns Charities, Inc. (Sr. Mary Sears) - for a two-faced sign <br />with 4 panels identifying occupants of buildings on Grey Nuns property. The sign <br />will be located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Pelham Rd. <br />38 Normandy Rd., Richard M. Penta - special permit for a pool. <br />131 Hartwell Ave., Frederick Dupree, Dupree Associates - special permit with Site <br />Plan Review to allow a building for office and research purposes. Project has <br />been identified as Kilnbrook Three, Wood St. <br />131 Hartwell Ave., Frederick Dupree et al - variances to allow dimensional control <br />variances;and parking closer than 50 feet from residential district. <br />Decisions filed with the Town clerk. <br />307 Wood St. - granted unanimously (expires 7/1/82). <br />241 Worthen Rd., East - granted unanimously. <br />10 Pelham Rd. - sign denied unanimously. <br />38 Normandy Rd. - granted unanimously. <br />131 Hartwell Ave. - granted by vote of 4 to 1 (Scouler voting in negative) <br />(site plan review - to build building) <br />131 Hartwell Ave. - variances granted unanimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:16 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
