BOARD OF APPEALS <br />January 31, 1980 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Robert A. Bowyer, Associate <br />Eric T. Clarke, Associate <br />William J. Scouler, Associate <br />A public hearing was held on the following. <br />Potter Pond (development), at Ooncord Avenue and Walnut St., Potter Pond Village <br />Association by F. William Smith - site plan review and special permit (SPS) under <br />Section 38 (multi -dwelling district -RD) for "Potter Pond" development and for <br />dimensional variances: to wit, waiver of 30 foot minimum distance between (garage) <br />buildings or allowance of three (3) six car garages. Petitioner has the property <br />under purchase agreement with William L. Potter et al., as Trustees of Walnut <br />Farm Trust, and Margaret M. Riley. <br />Several areas of disagreement or lack of evidence were identified. Several <br />people spoke in favor of the project, James and Marian Reilly spoke in opposition. <br />The Board of Appeals, of the opinion it could not grant a special permit <br />until the areas of disagreement were resolved and additional information supplied, <br />voted unanimously to continue the hearing until February 14, 1980 at 8 p.m. <br />(Please see decision filed with the Town Clerk for details.) <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
