BOARD OF APPEALS <br />April 7, 1977 <br />' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, April 7, 1977; <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m., in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman <br />Ruth Morey, Vice Chairman <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Associate <br />Robert M. Gary, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of the hear- <br />ings having been mailed and hearings advertised in the Lexington Minute -Man <br />newspaper as required by statute. <br />Louis R. Vitiello - special permit allowing the use of a portion of his resi- <br />dence located at 4 Redcoat Lane, as a Law Office in accordance with Section <br />25.81 of the Use Regulations, Zoning By-law. <br />James B. Catalano - renewal of special permit to continue operations of retail <br />business of selling flowers, produce and plants grown on the premises at 643 <br />Waltham Street. <br />Robert S. Graves - renewal of the permit for variance to allow temporary parking <br />of not more than ten (10) motor vehicles on the rear of the property at 388 Con - <br />Ltd Avenue. This parking will continue to be used in conjunction with Bob's <br />Towing Service of Lexington. A two year permit is requested. <br />Honeywell, Inc. - variance under the terms of Sections 12.3 and 25, and other <br />applicable sections, for permission to include light manufacturing and assembly <br />of electronic and optical mechanical assemblies on the premises at 3 Forbes Rd. <br />Lexington Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Peking Garden Restaurant, 27 Waltham Street - <br />special permit under the Town of Lexington Zoning By-laws to enable it to enlarge <br />its restaurant facilities and use the adjacent premises and lot of land located <br />at 31 Waltham Street, formerly occupied by Stevens Market, Inc., for the purpose <br />of extending its restaurant use. <br />Petitioner has an agreement with the owners of the premises at 31 Waltham <br />Street to purchase the property. The addition is to be in accordance with the <br />plan entitled "Addition to Peking Garden, Morehouse and Chesley Architects" <br />dated February 22, 1977, copy of which is in the Board of Appeals' office. <br />DECISIONS: The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See <br />dicisions for more details, all in Board of Appeals' files and also filed with <br />the Town Clerk. <br />Vitiello - denied 2 to 3. Natalie H. Riffin and Woodruff M. Brodhead voting to <br />grant permission, the others voting in opposition. <br />Catalano - granted for 2 years unanimously, subject to certain conditions. <br />Graves - granted unanimously, a temporary permit for one year, subject to certain <br />conditions. <br />Honeywell - granted unanimously. <br />
