BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 26, 1976 <br />' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, August 26, 1976, <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. <br />Present were all regular members: Chairman Nickerson, Vice Chairman Wadsworth, <br />Ruth Morey, Woodruff Brodhead and Irving Mabee. Also present were a room full of <br />townspeople, a Lexington Minute -Man Reporter and a representative of the League <br />of Women Voters. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Public hearings were held on -the following petitions, notices having been <br />mailed to the proper persons and notices having been advertised as required by <br />statute. <br />Frank B. Cavatorta - special permit to erect a hanging (protruding) sign, 4' by <br />2 1/2', on the right hand corner of the building at 1049 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />The Petitioner is the Lessee of the property. <br />Rosins's Kitchen Deli, Inc. - special permit under Section 25.69 of the zoning <br />bylaw to sell delicatessen type products on the ground floor of the building at <br />363A Massachusetts Avenue in accordance with the drawings submitted and dated <br />May 26, 1976. The aforesaid business use shall be the same as that previously <br />granted by special permit on October 2, 1975, for the street floor portion of <br />the same building. That special permit shall be abandoned if this petition is <br />granted. <br />John F. Schneider - special permit to install and live in a 3 -bedroom trailer <br />on the property at 29 Moreland Avenue for a period of 180 days from date (8/26/76). <br />The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See permits <br />and denials for details.. <br />Cavatorta - denied on a vote of 4 to 1, Mr. Brodhead voting in favor. <br />Rosins's Deli - granted unanimously. <br />Schneider - granted for 45 days, unanimously. (trailer had been installed in <br />mid-June. <br />All pertinent material is on file in Board office. Meeting adjourned at <br />10:00 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
