November 28, 1972 hearings continued: -2 <br />' The addition will be 16 ft. x 21 ft. 6 in., one story in height, and will con- <br />sist of a bedroom and bathroom. The addition will be attached to the side of <br />the existing building which has been there since before the year 1900. The <br />front of the existing building is approximately 17 ft. from the street line. <br />The addition will be in line with the front of the existing building and will <br />be the same distance from the street. <br />Lexington Gardens, Inc. by E. Lee Schneider, President - petition for a special <br />permit under subsections 12.2 and 24.5 of the zoning by-law to store and sell <br />in conjunction with the operation of a nursery at 93 Hancock Street, Lexington, <br />all of the supplementary items specified in the subsection 24.5. <br />Following the hearings the Board made the following decisions, all in <br />open meeting and all unanimous. <br />Peter S. Pershan and Patricia B. Pershan - granted. <br />Ida G. Krebs - granted, with the condition that the building must be built of <br />second class construction and subject, also, to the following: <br />1. The number of students shall not exceed 50. <br />2. Any drainage problems must be satisfied and in conformity with the Hatch <br />Act requirements. <br />3. Board of Health and Fire Department regulations must be met. <br />4. Construction of the building must be started within one year. <br />Honeywell Radiation Center (Cabot, Cabot & Forbes) - granted, subject to the <br />conditions agreed upon in the request and the condition recommended by the <br />Building Inspector that the stair enclosures for all three stairways be of not <br />less than a 2 -hour fire resistant rating shall be met and all conditions of <br />the finding and determination granted August 1, 1972. <br />Herbert D. Kline - denied. (65 ft. tower is allowed according to the by-law <br />without a special permit or variance) <br />Albert E. Whitcomb - granted, subject to the condition that construction be <br />started within one year. <br />Lexington Gardens, Inc. - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. This special permit shall terminate two years from date, subject to the <br />right of the Board to extend the permission from time to time. (expira- <br />tion date, November 28, 1974) <br />2.
