BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' December 16, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />December 16, 1969, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Sheldon, Wadsworth and <br />Dawes. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Mrs. Viola Norlin - permission to continue operation of the Lexington Manor <br />Nursery for the coming year at her home, 118 Burlington Street. <br />S. Arthur and Alice G. Peterson - permission to vary the Zoning By -Law to <br />subdivide the property at 546 Lowell Street, into 2 lots, one of which would <br />have a frontage of 132 ft. and an area of 11,800 sq. ft. more or less, to which <br />lot 3,000 sq. ft. more or less, shall be conveyed by abutter, being petitioners' <br />corporation, and shown as the area designated "A'� on plan filed herewith, so that <br />said lot will have a total of 14,800 sq. ft. more or less, second of which would <br />have frontage of 20 feet and an area of 2,500 sq. ft. more or less, to be added <br />to other land of abutter, being petitioners' corporation to provide access to <br />the entrance of existing greenhouses. <br />Clarke A. Hamlet - variance to permit the construction and maintenance of a <br />two-story addition to the existing one -family dwelling at 16 Bellflower Street, <br />which would have a yard of 11 feet on Emerald St. (not the frontage street), <br />instead of the 20 feet required by Section 27 of the Zoning By -Law. <br />Andrew Cupp - for permission to construct an additional greenhouse 35 feet <br />6 inches x 160 feet to be located at 171 Woburn Street. <br />Robert E. Fogg - permission to park not more than two (2) rental trucks <br />on the lot of the Texaco Station at 400 Lowell Street, the lot being located in <br />the CG (General Business District). <br />Jacob Rice, M.D. - permission to vary the applicable Section 25.40 of the <br />Zoning By -Law to allow the use of the second floor of the building presently known <br />and numbered 99 Waltham Street as an office for the practice of medicine. <br />Following the hearings, an executive session was held during which the <br />following decisions were made: <br />Mrs. Viola Norlin - granted. <br />S. Arthur and Alice G. Peterson - granted. <br />Clarke A. Hamlet - granted. <br />Andrew Cupp - granted. <br />Robert E. Fogg - denied. <br />Jacob Rice, M.D. - granted. <br />Sherman H. and Enid M.
