' BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />November 25, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />November 25, 1969, at 7:30 p.m, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Sheldon, Wadsworth, Dawes and <br />associate member Morey. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Mrs. Norman Traverse - variance to build a two car garage, attached by a <br />roof overhang to the dwelling at 25 Tufts Road, with a side yard of two feet <br />instead of the required 15 feet. <br />Lexington KnightsTof Columbus - special permit for a ground mounted non - <br />illuminated sign, painted and lettered on two sides with metal faces and wood <br />frame at 175 Bedford St. <br />The 115 Kendall Corporation - finding and determination that the proposed <br />placement of buildings, services, etc., will constitute a suitable development <br />and will not result in substantial detriment to the neighborhood. The property <br />frontage is located on the northwest side of Hartwell Avenue and extends through <br />to Westview St. <br />' William E. Malone - variance affecting land at 31 Muzzey St. at the corner of <br />Muzzey and Forest Streets, presently owned by Old Belfry Club, to permit the <br />demolition and removal of existing structures: the erection, maintenance and operation <br />of a medical center, the space and facilities therein to be leased or rented to <br />practioners of various forms of medical practice, with necessary parking and other <br />appurtenances. <br />John and Rosina_Busa - for permission to continue operation of a roadside <br />stand on the premises at 52 Lowell St. <br />Sherman H. and Enid,M. Starr - appeal from the decision of September 29, 1969, <br />of Donald K. Irwin, Building Inspector, relative to premises at 55 Hill Street, to <br />wit: that the sale of alcoholic beverages to be consumed on said premises does not <br />constitute a change in use whereby the zoning by-law of the Town of Lexington, <br />Section 32.1 relative to parking requirements would apply. The petitioners own <br />and occupy premises at 62 Hill Street. <br />Following the hearings, an executive session was held during which the following <br />decisions were made: <br />Mrs. Norman Traverse - denied. <br />Lexington Knights of Columbus - denied. <br />The 115 Kendall Corp. - granted. <br />William E.
