1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />September 9, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />September 9, 1969 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Present <br />were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Sheldon, Wadsworth and <br />Dawes. Hearings were opened at 7:30 p.m. as follows: <br />Lexington Liquor Mart, Inc. - a special permit to erect and maintain <br />on the southerly wall of its store at 58 Bedford St. a sign having a width <br />of 13 feet instead of the permitted 10 feet and a height of 1 foot 10 inches. <br />Robert A. and Susan G. Novick - a variance to permit the construction <br />of a wood deck along the easterly and northerly sides of the house located <br />at 11 White Pine Lane having a side yard of 12 feet instead of the required <br />15 feet and a front yard of 25 feet instead of the required 30 feet. <br />C. Edvard Burri - a variance of the zoning regulations to allow a <br />buildable lot to be subdivided from the lower right side of the 2 1/2 acres <br />site located at 34 Winter Street, creating a new lot consisting of. 30,000 <br />sq. ft. with a 100 feet frontage. <br />Teena S. Sacco - a variance of the Zoning By -Law to permit 100 feet <br />frontage instead of the 150 feet required for three lots at 139 Wood St., <br />each having the required 30,000 sq. ft. area. <br />Lexington Federal Savings and Loan Association - special permit to <br />erect and maintain a free standing sign at 11 Muzzey Street. <br />Lexington Gardens, Inc.- special permit to continue to sell at retail <br />at 93 Hancock Street nursery stock and allied products, including among <br />others fungicides, insecticides, mulches, and fertilizers, hand gardening <br />tools and equipment, sprinklers, plant containers, and supports and decorative <br />items used in connection therewith, wild bird feeders, food and houses; and <br />from December 5th to 24th inclusive, Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. <br />_Mrs. Ralph Schontag - special permit to continue operation of a <br />kindergarten for twelve children, five days a week, 9:00 a.m. to noon, <br />at her home, 296 Woburn Street. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were made: <br />Lexington Liquor Mart, Inc. - granted. <br />Robert A. and Susan G. Novick - granted. <br />C. Edward Burri - denied. <br />Teena S. Sacco - granted. <br />Lexington Federal Savings and Loan Association - denied. <br />Lexington Gardens, Inc. - granted, with conditions attached. <br />Mrs. Ralph Schontag - granted. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br />,e zuaftw <br />R.
