BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING <br />I <br />May 20, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, May 20, 1969, at 7:30 p.m, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office <br />Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Abbott, <br />and Wadsworth and Associate Member Blaisdell. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Robert Leslie for a variance to construct an addition to an existing <br />building located at 8 Lake Street with 7'10" side yard instead of the <br />required 15 feet. <br />Busa Realty Trust for a variance to construct a porch with a 12' plus <br />rear yard instead of the required 15' at the rear of existing dwelling at <br />12 Circle Road. <br />Buss Realty Trust for a variance to build at 35 Circle Road, a resi- <br />dence with a side yard of 14.6 feet instead of the required 15 feet. <br />Hartwell Trust for a finding and determination concerning the con- <br />struction of a motor hotel at 482 Bedford St. and for a variance for a <br />front yard of 60' instead of the required 100'. <br />' At the close of the hearings, an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Robert Leslie - granted. <br />Buss Realty Trust - 12 Circle Road denied. <br />Busa Realty Trust - 35 Circle Road - granted. <br />Hartwell Trust - granted permit to build a motel of 144 rooms, public <br />spaces and outdoor swimming pool on 10.1 acres in <br />accordance with plot and topographical plan and <br />floor plans submitted, together with a slight modi- <br />fication of the public area. Three acres at the <br />rear of the plot may be used for a different purpose <br />later. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br />Clerk <br />
