BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING <br />January 7, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, January 7, 1969, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town <br />Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members <br />Dawes, Abbott, Wadsworth and Sheldon. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />The First Church of Christ,he. Scientist for permission to replace <br />the existing sign located at tfront of the church fac"g Forest St. <br />with anew aluminum illuminated sign, approximately 33" x 57", to be <br />erected at 16 Forest St. <br />Yvonne A. & Dominic Falcone for a variance of the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law in order to extend the present non -conforming house located at <br />62 Tarbell Ave., which has a side yard of 8'6" instead of the required <br />101, and to add a chimney which will have a side yard of 6'6" instead <br />of the required 10' <br />Muriel E. York for permission to continue operation of a day <br />nursery to care for not more than ten pre-school children between the <br />hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at 197 Grant St. <br />James B. _Catalano for permission to continue operation of retail <br />business of selling flowers, plants, and produce grown on the premises <br />at 643 Waltham St. <br />Shell_ Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain one standing <br />sign on the premises of its retail automobile service station situated <br />at the northwesterly corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Maple Street and <br />number 1095 Massachusetts Ave., such sign to be one of the design and <br />construction shown on plan submitted and to be in substitution for the <br />standing sign formerly located on the premises. <br />Nicholas A. Cann_alonga for permission to continue to operate a <br />roadside stand under the trade name of Wagon Wheel Nursery on property <br />located at 927 Waltham St., Lexington, to be used for the sale of <br />nursery products grown on said land; also to sell Christmas trees, <br />wreaths, etc. in the appropriate season. <br />First Church of Christ, Scientist - Granted <br />Yvonne A. & Dominic Falcone - Granted <br />Muriel E.
