1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />July 25, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />July 25, 1967. Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Dawes, Sheldon <br />and Wadsworth, and associate member Logan Clarke, and the secretary, <br />Mrs. Macomber. At 7:30 p.m. the hearings were called to order, as <br />follows: <br />Anthony R. Cataldo (Gold Ribbon Farms) - requested permission <br />to continue to process, warehouse and sell fresh fruits and vegetables <br />at 1265 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington. <br />Carl and Leota L. Janke - permission to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law in order to erect an addition to the house at 30 Vine Brook Road <br />which will provide a side yard of 18 ft. plus or minus at the widest point <br />to 3 ft. plus or minus at the narrowest point, because of the angular <br />boundary. <br />William F. Schreiber - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order <br />to build a one -family house on a 2.8 acre parcel of land at the junction <br />of Turning Mill Rd. and Gould Rd. with 64.27 ft. frontage instead of the <br />required 150 ft. <br />Perry A. Miles - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />construct an open deck at 3 Dewey Rd. one corner of which would extend to <br />a point eight feet from the existing lot line instead of the required 15 <br />ft. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which <br />the following decisions were made: <br />Anthony R. Cataldo - Granted <br />Carl and Leota L. Janke - granted on the condition that no portion <br />of the addition shall be closer than 10 ft. to the side line. <br />William F. Schreiber - granted subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the house shall be located as shown on the engineered drawing and <br />approximately 275 ft. from Turning Mill Rd. 2. This variance is granted <br />with the condition (which is to be recorded and run with the land so as to <br />bind future owners) that no portion of the 2.82 acres may be subdivided, <br />or sold, and no further building may be erected thereon except upon the <br />approval by the Planning Board of a definitive subdivision plan. <br />Perry A.
