BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 March 7, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />March 7, 1967 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present <br />were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Sheldon and Wadsworth, <br />and Associate Morey. Mrs. Macomber, the secretary, was also present. <br />The hearings were called to order at 7:30 p.m. as follows: <br />William D. Lanning - to vary the Lexington Sign By -Law in order <br />to erect a sign at 1762 Massachusetts Avenue which would be 18" x 10'6", <br />or larger than that permitted. <br />Robert M. Adam - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />erect a two-story addition at 63 Spring St. which will have a 5.7 ft. <br />side yard instead of the required 7.5 ft. <br />Church of Christ - for permission under the Sign By -Law to de - <br />present sign and replace with a new one at 319 Lowell St. <br />Wilson Farm, Inc. - permission to demolish existing roadside stand <br />and construct a new stand at #10 Pleasant St. which will be further back <br />from the road. <br />Mark Moore, Jr. - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />' construct a house on Lot C. Tavern Lane as shown on a "Plan of Land in <br />Lexington, Mass.", dated December 9, 1966 by Albert A. Miller and Wilbur <br />C. Nylander, duly recorded at Middlesex County Registry of Deeds. <br />Lexington Housing Authority - for a Finding and Determination by <br />the Board of Appeals that the 10 -acre development of the Lexington Hous- <br />ing Authority located in an A 1 district and to be known as William Roger <br />Greeley Village, including the portion previously approved by the Board <br />of Appeals, constitutes a desirable development not detrimental to the, <br />neighborhood and the town; the number of paved parking spaces to be at <br />least 50 (one half of the proposed number of dwelling units) with addi- <br />tional space provided along the access roads within the development and <br />on unpaved grass areas to bring the number of parking spaces up to 100. <br />Robert 0. Tillinghast - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order <br />to reduce the area of Lot C by 254 sq.ft. to be added to Lot A, and to <br />maintain garage in its present location with insufficient side and rear <br />yards; and to construct a two-family dwelling on Lot A as shown on plot <br />plan submitted. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which <br />the following decisions were made: <br />William D.
