BOARD OF APPEALS- REARINGS <br />' January 24, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, January 24, 1967, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office <br />Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott <br />and Sheldon, and associate members Dawes and Blaisdell. <br />At 7:30 p.m. hearings were opened on the following petitions: <br />Nicholas Cannalonga - permission to continue to operate a road- <br />side stand under the trade name of Wagon Wheel Nursery on property <br />located at 927 Waltham St., Lexington, to be used for the sale of <br />nursery products grown on said land; also to sell Christmas trees, <br />wreaths, etc. in the appropriate season. <br />Mystic Valley Mental Health_ Assn. - permission to install an <br />exterior fire escape from the southwest third floor rear window of <br />the building at 186 Bedford St. to provide a second exit from the third <br />floor, required by safety regulations to permit use of the third floor <br />for consultation rooms and offices, in accordance with the Board of <br />Appeals Permit dated February lk 1966. <br />Burton R. Liebman - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order to main- <br />tain existing buildings at 24 Locke Lane, the overhang of which has a <br />' 28.5 ft. setback instead of the required 30 ft.; and to permit 12 ft. <br />extension of present building to the garage with same 28.5 ft. setback. <br />Jonah _Kalb - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />maintain at 17 North St. a building one corner of which is 10 ft. from <br />the side line instead of the required 15 ft.; also to erect a wing, <br />foundation of which would conform to the By -Law but one corner of <br />overhang would require a 16" variance; and to construct a deck in rear <br />of present house and garage one corner of which would be 11 ft. from <br />the side line instead of the required 15 ft. <br />Ralph H. Hall - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law to permit <br />the removal of 10.3 feet of existing garage located at 75 Hancock St., <br />leaving existing building with present 7 ft. rear yard and proposed 5 <br />ft. side yard. Granted to maintain the existing ga <br />Thomas A. Rosse - a Finding and Determination that a proposed <br />one-story building to be used for administrative offices, research and <br />development, and light manufacturing to be located on the westerly side <br />of Hartwell Ave. between Maguire Rd. and Wood St., consisting of twenty <br />acres, will constitute a desirable development, not detrimental to the <br />area. <br />Richard A._ Currier - permission to lease to Davey Tree Expert Co. <br />of Kent, Ohio space in the rear of building at 394 Lowell St., Lexington, <br />' to be used for the purpose of office and storage of equipment and <br />supplies pertaining to the landscape business. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during <br />
