BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />June 14, 1966 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />June 14, 1966, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present <br />were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Hoyt, Sheldon and Wadsworth, <br />and associate member Logan Clarke,Jr. and the secretary, Mrs. Macomber. <br />The hearings were called to order at 7:30 p.m. as follows: <br />Pgul Marashio - renewal, roadside stand <br />Josiah Willard Hayden Recreation Center, Inc. - permission to <br />erect at 26 Lincoln Street a storage building and pavillion, approxi- <br />mately 60 x 20 ft., to be used in conjunction with the present Hayden <br />Recreational Center for recreational purposes. <br />James H. McManus Shoppes, Inc. - to erect a double faced illumi- <br />nated sign installed on a steel pole independent of the location build- <br />ing at 399 Lowell St. <br />Evert N. Fowle - to erect a two -car garage on property at 12 <br />Winthrop Rd. which would have a 10 ft. side yard instead of the re- <br />quired 15 ft. <br />Lexington Housing Authority - to permit construction of housing <br />for the elderly on a 10 -acre parcel at Shirley, Sargent and Tewksbury <br />Sts. having insufficient frontage on the frontage streets. <br />Louis and Catherine Stoico - for special permit under Sec.8(a)2.f. <br />of the Lexington Zoning By -Law to subdivide a 10.6 acre parcel at the <br />southwesterly cornet of the intersection of Marrett and Follen Rds. <br />into lots containing not less than 20,000 sq.ft. and having a frontage <br />of not less than 120 ft. <br />Anthony Barsamian - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order to confirm <br />the validity of the existing buildings located at 395-401 Lowell St. in <br />conformance with the requirements of the Zoning By -Laws, more particu- <br />larly with reference to Sec.B(b)l.a. <br />John Brucchi - for permission to conduct a private riding school at <br />63 Paul Revere Rd. in which riding lessons would be given under the <br />supervision of Susan Brucchi. <br />Doris Ulchak - permission to maintain garage and attached shed at <br />200 Follen Rd. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which <br />the following decisionswere made: <br />Paul Marashio - granted <br />Josiah Willard Hayden Recreation Center, Inc. - granted <br />James H. McManus Shoppes, Inc. - denied <br />Evert N. Fowle - denied <br />Lexington Housing Authority - granted <br />
