BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />October 19, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, October 19, <br />1965. Present were Chairman Nickerson, Members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley and <br />Wadsworth. <br />At 7:30 p.m. the following hearings were declared open: <br />Patricia McDonald - for permission to establish a day care <br />center to be conducted Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for not <br />more than ten children, at 840 Mass. Ave., Lexington <br />Bernard C. Maloney - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in <br />order to subdivide Lot 37 Moreland Ave. so as to convey the rear 23 ft. <br />more or less with lot 41 Swan Lane, the house at present projects approx- <br />imately 3 ft. over the lot line. <br />Curt Sternweiler - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order <br />to construct a garage at 11 Fessenden Way which will have 13 ft. side <br />yard instead of the required 15 ft. and 22.6 ft. setback instead of the <br />required 30 ft. <br />' Pine Crest Realty Trust - for permission to erect a greenhouse <br />25 ft. x 50 ft. at 30 Watertown St. for private use in growing products <br />for his Pine Crest Nursing Home. <br />Robert E. Doran for permission to erect a plastic greenhouse <br />84 $t. x 20 ft. at 150 East St., Lexington, to be used in business of <br />growing plants. <br />James H. and Anne E. Doherty - to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By-law in order to divide a lot at 147 Woburn St. into two lots having <br />areas of 23,240 sq.ft. and 22,360 sq.ft. respectively instead of the re- <br />quired 30,000 sq.ft., and frontages of 77.73 and 77.74 ft. respectively <br />instead of the required 150 ft. <br />Warren M. Haussler - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order <br />to construct a carport at 12 Larchmont Lane which would have a 13 ft. side <br />yard instead of the required 30 ft. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decsions were reached: <br />Patricia McDonald - granted <br />Bernard C.
