BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' January 5, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, January 5, 1965 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, and regular members Abbott, Hoyt, <br />Ripley, and Wadsworth. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Muriel York - permission to continue nursery school at 197 Grant <br />Street. <br />James Catalano - permission to continue operation of roadside stand <br />at 60 Waltham St. <br />Alessandro Morelli - permission to erect a Walpole Small Building at <br />20 Diana Lane which would have a rear yard of 8 ft. instead of the re- <br />quired 15 ft. <br />Robert F. Strong - permission to construct a one -car garage at 11 <br />Manning St. which would have a 25 ft. setback instead of the required 30 <br />ft. and a 9 ft. side yard instead of the required 12 ft. <br />Donald and Jean Benedict - permission to maintain a house at 15 Ames <br />Ave. the chimney of which is 8-1/2 ft. from the side line instead of the <br />required 10 ft. <br />Mrs. K. Paul Yphantis - permission to relot lots 45 and 47 Ledgelawn <br />Ave. y increasing the frontage of Lot 47 and decreasing the frontage of <br />Lot 45 by 116" in order to move the line which at present runs through the <br />driveway on Lot 47. This would result in a frontage of 73'6" instead of <br />the required 75 ft. and a side yard of 8 ft. instead of the required 10 <br />ft. on Lot 45• <br />Walnut Farm Trust - permission to build an equipment building approx- <br />imately ' x 701, one story, on golf club land at 40 Walnut St. <br />Walnut Farm Trust - permission to erect a standing sign approximately <br />38 x dI on golf club and at 40 Walnut St. <br />Myron C. Graffam - permission to convert to two family use a one <br />family residence at 110 Bedford St. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Muriel York - granted <br />James Catalano granted <br />Alessandro Morelli - denied <br />Robert F Strong - granted <br />Donald and Jean Benedict - granted <br />
