BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />March 10, 1964 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, March 10, 1964, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, <br />Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular <br />members Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth and associate member Dawes. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Albert B. Pratley for permission to build a swimming pool at his <br />residence, 0 Highland Avenue, which would be seven feet instead of <br />the required fifteen feet from the rear property line. <br />Leonard J. Friedman, M.D. for permission to use a portion of his <br />home as an occasional professional office for the purpose of conduct- <br />ing psychotherapeutic interviews with psychiatric patients. <br />American Tel. & Tel. Co. - for permission to construct a "tele- <br />phone exchange" in an R 1 district. The "telephone exchange" would <br />consist of a small one-story building containing amplifying (repeated) <br />equipment for use on the Airmont-Boston Coaxial Cable, and to be <br />located at the southwest end of Rowland Ave. <br />Joseph Belott_i for permission to relocate present house from 10 <br />Concord Turnpike, Lexington to 21 Webster Road, Lexington, which has <br />insufficient frontage due to part of said lot being taken by eminent <br />domain by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for road purposes. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions <br />reached: <br />Albert B. Pratley - granted <br />Leonard J. Friedman, M.D. - granted <br />Amer. Tel. & Tel.
