BOARL) OF APPEALS HEARING <br />October 22, 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was <br />held on Tuesday, October 22, 1963 at 7:30 p.m. in the Select- <br />men's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nicker- <br />son, regular members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley, and associate member <br />Ricker. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />John J. Davin for permission to erect a garage at his resi- <br />dence at 6 Wyman Road, which would have insufficient side yard. <br />John LeBlanc to maintain a garage now under construction <br />at 6 Morris Street whica has insufricient side yard. <br />i,ollen Church Society for permission to sell Christmas <br />trees at (64 Massachusetts Avenue from December 10 through Decem- <br />ber 24. <br />William L. Bitzer for permission to erect a garage which <br />would have insuff icienu side yard at his residence, 10 Grassland <br />Street. <br />' Michael and Pauline Grant for permission to maintain their <br />residence at 1 Aaron xoad on a_lot which does not have have sul- <br />ficient area or frontage. <br />Socony Mobil Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain <br />at 277 Bedford Street, one tire display case, permanently in- <br />stalled on concrete base for the storage and display of 100 tires, <br />and which would incorporate sign and advertising. <br />Richard's Lumber Co. to continue to operate a retail <br />specialty and building material business at 394 Lowell Street. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held <br />during which the above requests were discussed, and the following <br />decisions reached: <br />John J. flavin - granted <br />John LeBlanc - granted <br />Follen Church Society - granted <br />William L. Bitter - denied <br />Michael and Pauline Grant granted <br />Socony Mobil Oil Co. - denied <br />Richard's Lumber Co. - denied <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions <br />is on file under the name of each petitioner. <br />rhe meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M. <br />Louise M.
