BOARL) OF APPEALS HEARING October 22, 1963 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, October 22, 1963 at 7:30 p.m. in the Select- men's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nicker- son, regular members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley, and associate member Ricker. The following petitions were heard: John J. Davin for permission to erect a garage at his resi- dence at 6 Wyman Road, which would have insufficient side yard. John LeBlanc to maintain a garage now under construction at 6 Morris Street whica has insufricient side yard. i,ollen Church Society for permission to sell Christmas trees at (64 Massachusetts Avenue from December 10 through Decem- ber 24. William L. Bitzer for permission to erect a garage which would have insuff icienu side yard at his residence, 10 Grassland Street. ' Michael and Pauline Grant for permission to maintain their residence at 1 Aaron xoad on a_lot which does not have have sul- ficient area or frontage. Socony Mobil Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain at 277 Bedford Street, one tire display case, permanently in- stalled on concrete base for the storage and display of 100 tires, and which would incorporate sign and advertising. Richard's Lumber Co. to continue to operate a retail specialty and building material business at 394 Lowell Street. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions reached: John J. flavin - granted John LeBlanc - granted Follen Church Society - granted William L. Bitter - denied Michael and Pauline Grant granted Socony Mobil Oil Co. - denied Richard's Lumber Co. - denied All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner. rhe meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
