1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />April 30, 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, April 30, 1963, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley and Wads- <br />worth. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Grey Nuns Uharities, Inc. for permission to add to and increase the <br />capacity of the nursing home at 6 Eliot Road, Lexington, and use part of <br />said addition as a chapel and religious retreat house subject to the rules <br />and regulations of the Departments of Health and Public Safety of the Com- <br />monwealth of Massachusetts. <br />William T. Hardy for permission to subdivide parcel of land at 753 <br />Waltham Street, on which there is an existing structure, into two lots <br />neither of which would have required area and frontage. <br />Richard D. Hamilton to appeal the refusal of the Building Inspector <br />to issue a building permit pertaining to Lot #7, Massachusetts Avenue, <br />Lexington. <br />' Lexington Motor Inn for permission to replace the present sign on <br />the roof with one consisting of individual neon letters. <br />Harriet P. Chmela for permission to add a kitchen wing and a sundeck <br />to dwelling at Woodcliffe Road which would result in a setback on Wood- <br />cliffe Road of 27' instead of the required 301, and a setback on Normandy <br />Road of 18' instead of the required 201. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Grey Nuns Charities, Inc. - granted <br />William T. Hardy - denied <br />Richard D. Hamilton - denied <br />Lexington Motor Inn - granted <br />Harriet P.
