BOARD OF APPEALS HERRINGS <br />September 18, 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, September 18, 1962 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Build- <br />ing. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Hoyt <br />and Ripley, and associate member Dawes. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Maynide, Incorporated - permission to combine lots 7 and 8, Block <br />17, Bertwell Rd., each of being 30' x 1101, thereby creating a building <br />lot 60, x 110'; and also to erect a single family dwelling on newly <br />created lot which would not have sufficient side yards. <br />John F. Downey - permission to erect house on lot 53 School St. <br />which would have a setback on the abutting street of 16-1/2 ft. instead <br />of the required 20 it. <br />Kennecott Copper Corporation - permission to hang a sign 2' x 3' x <br />3" thick at dr veway entrance o Ledgemont Laboratory, 128 Spring St. <br />Standish C. Hartman - To maintain existing non -conforming dwelling <br />at 131 Sade St. and also erect a carport in rear of property at 131 <br />Shade St. which would have insufficient side yard. <br />William F. Ring - permission to erect a two-story addition to dwell- <br />ing at 3d Eaton Rd. which would not have required setback on abutting st. <br />A. Pertzoff - permission to erect an addition to garage at 55 Han- <br />cock St. which would not have sufficient side yard. <br />Martha Kinneen - permission to operate an answering service board, <br />to be known as tolunteer Telephone Answering Service, in her home at <br />4 Percy Rd. <br />At .the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Maynide, Inc. - permission granted to combine two lots <br />John F. Downey - granted <br />Kennecott Copper Corp. - granted <br />Standish C. Hartman - Permissian granted to maintain non -conforming <br />building <br />William F. Ring - granted <br />A. Pertzoff - granted <br />Martha Kinneen - granted <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file <br />' under the name of each petitioner. <br />Ruth C.
