BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' May 22, 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, May 22, 1962, in the Selectments Room, Town Office Build- <br />ing. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Norris <br />and Ripley and associate member Tucker. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />IvanG. Pyle for permission to build a one story garage addition <br />with a side yard of only 5 ft. instead of the required 10 ft. and a set- <br />back of 28 ft. instead of the required 30 ft., at 89 Meriam St. <br />Arthur F. Douglass for permission to erect and maintain a building <br />and the use thereof to conduct a funeral and embalming business therein, <br />and also the construction and use, as a part of said building or as a <br />separate building, of a garage for the storing and care of not more than <br />four motor vehicles used in connection with said business on Worthen Rd. <br />Mobil Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain at 277 Bedford <br />St. Mobil I.D. sign, 41311 x 814111, approximately 12-1/2F above ground, <br />and Clean Rest Rooms" sign. <br />Charles J. Abate for permission to erect a carport, 241 x 201, <br />' attached to dwelling at 7 Blueberry Lane with a side yard of 7-1/21 in- <br />stead of the required 151. <br />Angelo Nardone for permission to continue to operate roadside stand <br />at 851 Waltham St. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Ivan G. Pyle - granted <br />Arthur F. Douglass - denied <br />- <br />Mobil Oil Co. - granted <br />Charles J. Abate - granted <br />Angelo Nardone - denied <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file <br />under the name of each petitioner. <br />Ruth C.
