BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />May 1, 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, April 24, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office <br />Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, <br />Norris and Ripley, and associate member Hoyt,. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />John F. Downey for permission to erect house on Lot 53 School <br />Street having front entrance on Stimson Avenue, which would have in- <br />sufficient setback and rear yard. <br />SocorXV Mobil Oil Co. Inc. for permission to remove present <br />structures at 269-277 Bedford Street and erect new two bay service <br />station building on this site. <br />Jack Crusoe for merpnission to mount a 48++ diameter Mercedes-Benz <br />trademark neon sign to front of building at 436 Marrett Road. <br />Richard C. Long for permission to build an addition to dwelling <br />at 58 Paul Revere Road which would have insufficient side yard. <br />William H. Wildes for permission to alter dwelling at 72 Winter <br />Street into two-family house. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />John F. Downey - denied <br />Socony Mobil Oil Co., Inc. - granted <br />Jack Crusoe - granted <br />Richard C. Long - granted <br />William H.
