279 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HE&RUGS <br />August 234960 <br />The Board of Appeals held hearings on Tuesday, August 23, 1960 <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 7:30 p.m. hearings <br />were declared open on the following petitions; <br />Alex MacMillan - to erect a hoose on Lot 18 and part of Lot 17 <br />on Sylv. w lowill not have required setback or side yard. <br />Geor a L. Stevens - to add porch to existing house at is Moreland <br />Ave. wh ch would result in insufficient side yard. <br />Walter L. Clark - to erect two temporary signs directing to land <br />for sale, both s gns o be 41 x 41, one sign to be erected on property be- <br />longing to John Coyne, 34 Woburn St. and one sign to be erected on peti- <br />tioner s property, Lot 4, Hayes Lane. <br />Minola Black - to modify lot litre of property an corner of 11 <br />Hig ve. a inola Road which would result in two lots with insuf- <br />ficient area, and lot at 11 Highland Ave. would have insufficient rear yard. <br />Mrs. Anne Zi olo - to erect sign 30" x 161 above the right hand <br />window on the r1rat rloor of the Battle Green Inn, 1720 Mass. Ave. <br />' Mrs. Ral h Schon - to operate a kindergarten between the hours <br />Of 9:00 a.m. and 12:OU noon, for not more than ten children, at her home <br />at 296 Woburn St. <br />Violet H. Broughall - to operate a kindergarten for not more than <br />ten chit en in any one session at her home, 922 Mass. Ave. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were made: <br />Ales MacMillan - granted <br />Walter L. Clark - denied <br />Minola Black - denied <br />Mrs. Anne Zirpolo - granted <br />Mrs. Ralph Schontag - granted <br />Violet H.
