BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />IMay 31, 1960 <br />1 <br />The Board of Appeals held hearings on Tuesday, May 31, 1960, in <br />the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on the following petitions: <br />Francis Napoli - to build an addition to store building at 6 <br />North Hancocq St. which would have insufficient side yard and would not <br />provide sufficient parking area. Addition to be used for storage only. <br />MIT Lincoln Laboratory - to vary the Building By-law in order to <br />erect a metalrf ame'a on 56, x 916K x 8+, to a present steel frame <br />building at 238 Wood St. which does not comply with the Lexington Build- <br />ing By-laws. Addition to be used for research and to house tools and <br />equipment. <br />M. J. McCormack - to subdivide parcel of land at 475 Concord Ave. <br />into two %done o which has three structures on it, and with the pro- <br />vision that the garage is to be removed. Both lots would have insuffi- <br />cient frontage and the dwelling has insufficient setback. <br />Elizabeth A. Edgar.- to erect a carport to existing house at 30 <br />OrassiancSt. whichoes not have required setback. Proposed carport <br />would leave insufficient side yard. <br />H. B. MacKay & Son - to operate a plumbing and heating contracting <br />businessesoffice and display room at 166 Bedford St. <br />L. Priscilla Luther - to subdivide parcel of laud at 160 Lincoln <br />St. into woo s, one o which has a structure on it, with neither lot <br />having required frontage. <br />Richard D. Hamilton - to subdivide parcel of land at corner of <br />Reed anZ7 s s. in o ve lots, one of which has a structure on it,,. <br />and nese of Which would have required area or frontage. <br />At the close of the hearings the following conclusions were reached <br />in Executive Session: <br />Francis Napoli - granted <br />MIT, Lincoln Laboratory - granted <br />M. J. McCormack granted <br />Elizabeth A. Edgar - granted <br />H. B. MacKay & Son - granted <br />Priscilla Luther - granted <br />Richard D.
