BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS IMay 31, 1960 1 The Board of Appeals held hearings on Tuesday, May 31, 1960, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on the following petitions: Francis Napoli - to build an addition to store building at 6 North Hancocq St. which would have insufficient side yard and would not provide sufficient parking area. Addition to be used for storage only. MIT Lincoln Laboratory - to vary the Building By-law in order to erect a metalrf ame'a on 56, x 916K x 8+, to a present steel frame building at 238 Wood St. which does not comply with the Lexington Build- ing By-laws. Addition to be used for research and to house tools and equipment. M. J. McCormack - to subdivide parcel of land at 475 Concord Ave. into two %done o which has three structures on it, and with the pro- vision that the garage is to be removed. Both lots would have insuffi- cient frontage and the dwelling has insufficient setback. Elizabeth A. Edgar.- to erect a carport to existing house at 30 OrassiancSt. whichoes not have required setback. Proposed carport would leave insufficient side yard. H. B. MacKay & Son - to operate a plumbing and heating contracting businessesoffice and display room at 166 Bedford St. L. Priscilla Luther - to subdivide parcel of laud at 160 Lincoln St. into woo s, one o which has a structure on it, with neither lot having required frontage. Richard D. Hamilton - to subdivide parcel of land at corner of Reed anZ7 s s. in o ve lots, one of which has a structure on it,,. and nese of Which would have required area or frontage. At the close of the hearings the following conclusions were reached in Executive Session: Francis Napoli - granted MIT, Lincoln Laboratory - granted M. J. McCormack granted Elizabeth A. Edgar - granted H. B. MacKay & Son - granted Priscilla Luther - granted Richard D. Hamilton - denied All pertinent materials with regard to the above petitions is on file in each individual folder.
